Over the weekend we celebrated Niko's 2nd birthday. On Saturday we hosted a carnival themed party and on Sunday, the day of his actual birthday, we went to The Cheesecake Factory. I was a bit dissappointed on Saturday because even though everyone had fun, it was soooo windy that all my decorations just kept blowing away. So we ended up with bare tables. I had draped the tent and had table runners and centerpieces. Well, they were pointless because the wind kept blowing them away so I had to remove them. I had also printed signs for the tables and they kept getting knocked over. Overall all the kids had fun. These kids went crazy for bubbles!! I should have just had a bubble party and they would have all been happy. I cannot believe my little Niko turned two. Time flies!!!!
Our concessions included cotton candy, snow cones and popcorn. We rented them through Sky High Party Rentals. We rented the bouncy house and chairs at Tierra Linda Moonwalks, they probably have the best prices in Houston. The bouncy house was $80 for 24 hours! The balloon arch, face painting and balloon artist was through Twist it up. All our vendors were awesome and the kids had a great time!
All in all it was a great weekend and my little man and all his friends had fun!! I already have my next one's first bday in the works, lol. Until next year!!!
