MMMMMMMM . . . cake pops

My sister taught me how to make the most delicious cake pops! She made them for my baby shower and over the weekend we made them for my friend's bridal shower.

They are super easy to make and super delicious.

Ingredients
1. Cake mix
2. Eggs
3. Vegetable oil
4. Water
5. Frosting
6. Candy Melts
7. Sprinkles

Materials
1. Popsicle sticks
2. Cookie sheet
3. Cellophane paper or pop favor bags
4. Pretty ribbon

Instructions
1. Bake a cake, whichever flavor you want.
2. Let the cake completely cool.
3. Break it up into pieces once cooled.
4. Add frosting to broken up pieces of cake, add enough to mold the cake into little balls, if there is not enough frosting the balls won't hold their shape.
5. Roll above mixture into balls.
6. Pierce a Popsicle stick through the cake ball.
7. Place them on cookie sheet and let them cool in the refrigerator (we left ours overnight).
8. Melt the candy using a double boiler system (see pics).  This will prevent the chocolate from burning.
9. Dip the cake balls in the melted candy.
10. Add sprinkles.
11. Let cool standing up.  We placed them on styrofoam.
12. Wrap in cellophane paper or place them in cake pop favor bags and add a pretty ribbon.
